Follow the work

While Temperate works, it says what it’s doing and shows its steps. Select a step to see more.
An answer that says what it does next, with its steps under each sentence, and the answer with a table at the end

Charts and tables

When numbers read better laid out, an answer can show a chart, table or comparison. Ask “what if”, and you can change the numbers with a slider and see the result right away. To continue with a number you chose, write it in your next message.
A view with a slider for the hours a month, and the cost per month and per year that follow it

The buttons under an answer

To change your own question, select Edit on it.
When you rate an answer down, Temperate staff can read that chat to find out what went wrong. The dialog tells you before you send it.

What Temperate learned

Remembered 2 things for General under an answer shows what Temperate learned for the space. To take something back, see Make Temperate forget. When you explain why an answer was wrong, Temperate can suggest a team rule.

Branches

A branch is a new chat with everything up to one answer, so you can try another direction and keep the first. The menu Main chat and branches shows them all.

Long chats

The ring in the field shows how full the chat is. When it’s full, Temperate summarizes earlier messages and carries on. You still see the whole chat.

The panel at the right

Open the panel to see what belongs to the chat: Tasks, Artifacts, Uploads and Sources.
