The Inbox - Temperate

Select Inbox in the sidebar. The number beside it shows how many items are unread.

What lands in your Inbox

Item	What to do
A question before an action	Select Allow or Deny. See Questions and approvals.
A question from Temperate or an agent	Select Answer in the chat.
A task handed to you	Work on it right there.
A chat where someone mentioned you	Select Open the chat.
A correction that can become a team rule	Select Approve or Dismiss. See Team rules.
A notice	Read it, for example that an agent finished a task or needs you.

Read and delete

Select Unread to see only new items. To mark an item as read or delete it, use the buttons at the top right, or right-click it. Deleting an item doesn’t delete the task or chat it’s about. Read items stay for 14 days.

Email and notifications

You don’t have to keep Temperate open. If you don’t open an item within 5 minutes, you get an email. To get browser notifications, select the bell at the top of the Inbox. See Your settings.
