# Slack

> Read channels and threads, find people, and post a message.

## What you can ask

For example:

* What was said in #sales this week?
* What did the team decide in the thread about the new price?
* Post a summary of this chat in #general
* Which channels do we have?

## What Temperate can do

| Subject | What Temperate can do |

| Channels | See the public channels and read what was said in one. |
| Threads | Read a thread with its replies. |
| People | Find a person in the workspace. |
| Messages | Post a message in a channel or in a thread. |

## Connect

Select **Connect** and approve Temperate in Slack.
