# Knowledge

> The documents Temperate uses in its answers.

Add your contracts, policies, price lists and handbooks, and Temperate uses them in its answers. Open **Library** in the rail, then **Knowledge**.

## Who sees what

| Level | Who sees it | Who changes it |
| - | - | - |
| **Organization** | Every member, in every space | People with **Manage the organization's knowledge** |
| **Space** | Every member of the space | Every member of the space |
| **Private** | Only you | You |

Guests only see a file when you share it: open its menu and select **Share with guests**.

## Add documents

Select **Add** at the top, and choose a level. Files can be up to 50 MB. See [File types](https://docs.temperate.works/reference/file-types.md).

Temperate checks and reads a new document first, and can then use it. If a document says **Could not be read**, it may be unclear or have a password. Delete it and add it again.

## Find, move and delete

Use **Search the knowledge** to find a document by name. Open a document's menu to **Rename**, **Move** or **Delete** it. You can't undo deleting a document.
