# Create your organization

> Pick a region, create an account and name your organization.

**1. Pick a region**

Choose where your organization lives. Your chats and files stay in that region.

**2. Create your account**

Fill in **Name**, **Email** and **Password**, then select **Create account**.

**3. Verify your email address**

Open the link Temperate emails you. If it doesn't arrive, select **Send the link again**.

**4. Name your organization**

Fill in **Organization name** and select **Continue**. Temperate creates your first space, **General**, and you become the owner.

>
> You can't move an organization to another region later, and an account only exists in its own region.

## Sign in

Fill in **Email** and **Password**, then select **Sign in**. If you forgot your password, select **Forgot your password?** to get a reset link.
