# Audit trail

> See who did what in your organization.

The audit trail shows who did what, such as sign-ins, connections, shared chats and changes to settings. It never shows the contents of chats or files.

Open **Settings**, then **Audit trail**. You need the permission **View the audit trail**. Filter by **What**, **Who**, **Where** and date.
